Clean cooking and electricity through E-Stove in Pakistan
Socio technical Project on clean cooking carried by Dr. Abdul Basit in collaboration with Dr. Saghir from University of Keel. The main activities were:
- Cooking need analysis by interviewing communities: Dwelling details, Demographics: Details of household, Details of respondent, Household economics: Capital of the household and ability to accumulate wealth, Primary income, Supplementary income, Consumption.
- Energy (Use of power): Behaviors and actions affecting demand, Acquisition of power fuel and assets, Behaviors that affect purchasing decisions.
- Energy (cooking): Use of cooking fuels, Behaviors and actions affecting demand, Supply of cooking fuels and assets, Factors that affect purchasing decisions
- Willingness to pay for energy/ latent demand: Replacement of technologies, Purchase additional technologies
