Clean cooking and electricity

Socio technical Project on clean cooking carried by Dr. Abdul Basit in collaboration with Dr. Saghir from University of Keel. The main activities were:

• Cooking need analysis by interviewing communities: Dwelling details, Demographics: Details of household, Details of respondent, Household economics: Capital of the household and ability to accumulate wealth, Primary income, Supplementary income, Consumption.
• Energy (Use of power): Behaviors and actions affecting demand, Acquisition of power fuel and assets, Behaviors that affect purchasing decisions.
• Energy (cooking): Use of cooking fuels, Behaviors and actions affecting demand, Supply of cooking fuels and assets, Factors that affect purchasing decisions
• Willingness to pay for energy/ latent demand: Replacement of technologies, Purchase additional technologies
